Hello and welcome to Pennywort Mill — our family-run smallholding with a big heart, tucked away in the beautiful countryside of South East Cornwall.

We’re Chris and Emily, along with our two daughters, and we’re lucky enough to call this little corner of Cornwall home. Life at Pennywort Mill is relaxed and full of joy — shared with our horses, Pygmy goats, Mediterranean miniature donkeys, alpacas, and a pair of much-loved Boer cross goats, Arthur and Albus, who are very much part of the furniture!

Our two dog-friendly holiday cottages sit right here on the smallholding, offering a peaceful countryside escape that’s close to everything — beaches, moorland, and local towns are all just a short drive away. Guests can relax, unwind, and soak up a real slice of smallholding life, surrounded by animals and nature.

We’re passionate about keeping Pennywort Mill a place full of warmth, welcome, and connection — where families, friends, and four-legged companions can create lasting memories. Whether you’re staying in one of our cottages, following our smallholding adventures, or meeting our animals for the first time, we’re so glad to share this journey with you.
