Tyler’s Cottage

Welcome to Tyler’s Cottage—a charming converted barn nestled on our family small-holding in South East Cornwall. With two beautifully styled bedrooms (one double, one twin), a cosy lounge featuring exposed beams and a wood burner, and a modern kitchen with everything you need, the cottage strikes a perfect balance between rustic countryside character and everyday comfort.

Step outside and your private patio awaits—with BBQ, seating, and a luxurious hot tub set against tranquil fields of the working small-holding. Dogs are welcome too, with access to on-site walking fields and a safe enclosed garden.

Beyond the cottage itself, you’re invited to become part of small-holding life: help feed the goats, donkeys and alpacas, collect fresh eggs, wander countryside walks straight from the doorstep, or simply settle in with a Cream Tea welcome on arrival.

Tyler’s Cottage is peace and privacy wrapped in Cornish countryside—with all the comfort you’ll need, and the wide-open space of a family-run farm as your backdrop.

Kate’s Cottage

Welcome to Kate’s Cottage — a beautifully converted two-bedroom barn tucked away on the family-run smallholding of Pennywort Mill in South East Cornwall. With a double and a twin bedroom, this charming cottage sleeps up to four guests and warmly welcomes two well-behaved dogs, making it perfect for families, couples or those looking for a dog-friendly countryside break.

On the inside you’ll find character and comfort in equal measure: a cosy lounge with exposed beams and a wood burner set in a stone fireplace invites you to unwind over a Smart-TV or a good book. The adjoining dining room gives onto a modern, stylishly-equipped kitchen (with electric hob/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and utility space) — ideal whether you’re preparing a simple dinner or a feast.

Step outside and the delights continue: there’s a private patio area with seating and BBQ for al-fresco meals, plus access to an enclosed garden shared with the neighbouring cottage.

Children will love the on-site play area featuring swings, slide and climbing frame, all overlooking fields and the friendly animals of the smallholding. Meanwhile, dog-owners will appreciate the large fields on site for walking both on- and off-lead.

As part of the smallholding experience, you’re invited to participate in feeding the goats, donkeys, sheep, ducks and chickens — and to collect fresh farm eggs during your stay. With its location just minutes from local amenities and within easy reach of both north and south Cornwall coasts, Kate’s Cottage offers that perfect blend of rural tranquility and easy holiday access.
